From the Glenshee Ski Centre at the top of the Cairnwell Pass, a circuit which included Carn Aosda, Carn a'Gheoidh and The Cairnwell, before descending back to the starting point.
Nice walk!
Short but intense triple Munro bagging run. Not the most scenic around the ski resort but once headed out and back from Cárn a’Gheòidh it feels much more wild and isolated. We snagged the summit of Càrn na sac on the way...
We foolishly hoped it might improve in the afternoon; by 2pm, the weather had brightened in Braemar, so we headed south to Glenshee to check out the conditions - the clouds had lifted to around 800m but it was still driz...

Lived up to its name the three ugly sisters. Still enjoyed the walk though but forgot to start recording till we were up Carn Aosda

It occurred to me that I could maybe climb Mt Keen tomorrow, so after summiting Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach and Cac Carn Beag (Lochnagar) I headed up Glen Muick and camped in a pine forest near Aultonrea.
Summits: 1. Càrn Aosda - 915m (Munro) 2. Càrn a' Gheòidh - 975m (Munro) 3. The Cairnwell - 933m (Munro) Not the most scenic, but probably one of the easiest walks to tick off three Munros.
Glen shee 5. Nothing difficult and no navigation required if weather is good.
