    Almost died. Didn’t summit. Snow steep and paths disappeared under. Had spikes but needed crampons. Otherwise incredibly beautiful in the light of a winter sunset

    30/04/2021, 09:22 Start at Dobgill car park (pay and display). Initial steep-ish climb but otherwise a relatively easy walk with spectacular views of Thirlmere on the return leg.
