A fun little ride with some good descents and relatively non-technical ascents. Minimal tarmac. Mostly rideable in the wet or dry. Strines - Thornsett - Rowarth - Cown Edge - Mellor Church
The best descents done the wrong way, but a challenging ride all the same. The section of Bridleway from Windle Edge to the top of Woodhead pass is probably best avoided. It stays boggy even in dry weather.
