After 3 and a half months we have completed London Loop (hip hip hooray). Probably the most boring part of the walk with the exception of our old friend the Thames river.
A good workout... Start by heading in the opposite direction of the playground towards some bungalows. The first 2 miles are a gentle climb on the road. The second half is mainly off road, so watch out for slippery steps...
Varied walking with wide open views. There are muddy sections in Winter and overgrown sections in Summer.

Get Wikiloc Premium Upgrade to remove AdsEasy flat walking across the marshes and along the Thames. One section by Ferry Lane was extremely overgrown but this was avoided by walking along Ferry Lane for 300 metres.
Some lovely views on this walk which links 2 popular dog walking areas. Take care on the road crossings, especially the dual carriageway. There's 1 steep uphill and the top of Darland Banks can be slippery in the Winter.
