Starting from a layby parking area near Low Wray camping area, walked along the lake to Wray castle and then inland through farms and some forest, good view of a tarn and the lake, returned to lakeside for lunch.
High Wray to Far Sawrey is a lovely, long, undulating walk. Not too taxing. A good view at the top of Claife Heights
Lovely walk with 1 moderate incline, started from water edge at Wray castle after getting the water taxi across from Ambleside pier. Beautiful views through woodland, across fields all well marked tracks.
