Absolute classic walk. 3rd highest peak via 2 ridges. A bit of hand son scrambling and definitely engaging, but within most people's capability. Save for a good weather day, dry and low winds ideally.
We had to turn around from the last bit leading to Helvellyn because of snow. Otherwise, you could continue along the ridge and join the path we did around the lake of Red Tarn
