The walk follows the Green Chain walks from Crystal Palace up to Oxleas Wood. The route is pleasant, although more suburban than the other part running up to Thamesmead.
First section runs over the capital ring trail. Decent amount of parks and woodlands to make this a worthwhile hike. No busy roads apart from a small section in Streatham.
