One portion of the lovely Jakobsweg (St James Route). One of my personal favourites (I walk this at least a couple of times every year)!

    Great trail!

A lovely family walk around the tiny island of Ufenau, an island in the middle of Lake Zurich. Only recently renewed and re-opened, the island is a nice place for a lunch and a short, family friendly walk. Rugged strolle...

A 3 hour walk from Pfaffikon up to Etzel Kulm (highest hill in the area), then down to Feusisberg. There's a bus at Feusisberg that takes you back to Pfaffikon. Great views at Etzel Kulm, of both the inner and outer Schw...

The "Day 4" walk from Konstanz to Geneva. One of my favourite hikes, it crosses Einsiedeln, and covers some lovely terrain. Walk is approximately 6 hours excluding breaks, and there is a bus stop from Alpthal back to Ein...

The "official" Swiss version of the Jakobsweg between Pfaffikon and Trachslau. There's a bus at Trachslau that goes back to Einsiedeln, and from there, a train to Pfaffikon.

The first part is tricky, the path sometimes disappears, and due to snow and ice some part are a bit slippery, but all in all a really nice trekking following st James trail.

This portion of the Jakobsweg trail is absolutely beautiful, with forest, rolling hills, and lovely views of the Mythen. My personal favorite.

A short walking trail in the town of Pfaffikon with signs along the way describing bees, honey and the bee industry. Can be done with stroller, but there is one section which has a steep decline with steps over gravel.
