La Joyita. Nice hike with some riverbed, hillside scrambling and amazing views. A hike best done on a cooler day.
Beautiful hike from the Joyita camping ground and above trophy cañon. Almost all establishedtrails. No bushwacking. Lots of flowers in September. A fave.
Nice loop starting from the campground first down towards the upper arroyo then sharp left up and around a butte. No special difficulty. Some shaded parts.
Starts at the La Hoya campground follows the blue marked trail to the meadow below the cross on hill. Near the start there is a detour to the riverbed, but riverbed trail becomes impassable.

Long and steep. Down from the radar, better go back same way until road.
