This track starts from a private house in Ngong, but before ascending to the hills, goes through some streets that shows a way to enter the area without passing through the main gate of the Kenya Forest Service.
Very nice connection between Ngong and Suswa. Make sure to call "Kedong Range" before the trip, they will request you to pay a fee as you go on their territory.
