You can start this round trip either at het Abbaye la Grâce Dieu or at the showcave Grotte de la Glacière. Being cavers for many years, we chose for the latter option. There's a big table at the parking, that shows you t...

Beautiful walk up and down the hills and along some waterfalls (dry in summer). Very steep walk, not easy! No internet or phone connection at starting point.
Nice trip with a lot of shade and a place to drink. Needed to be careful with our racing bikes though, the forest is easier with a mountain bike :) But no flat tires!
Passes a large pond. Unfortunately, no swimming aloud. But trail starts and ends in a village with small bistro.
Bring mudguards - Tour de shit. The second half of the ride I took the road - the trails are full of dogshit and cowshit.
Walk with many small lakes. Where we returned we just got of the right track so no neef to do this of you do this hike :-)
Not that much off road, maybe 20%, so, not as much as we usually do... but lovely scenery, views and villages.
Along a river, through the forest, a village. And take deet with You for the musquitos during summer.
Part 15 At La Cluse et Mijoux, this route leaves the hiking route (GR 145) to connect in Jougne to the Cyclovia (bicycle trail) through Switzerland and Italy. After La Cluse et Mijoux, you first pass the lake of Sa...
Part 14 From the campsite in Besançon, follow the Doubs for a few kilometers on the EV6 (Euro vélo) cycle path. Then it is again climbing to the towns of Montfaucon and Saone. From Ornans to Ouhans, follow the rive...
Rather not take the loop from the cascades but return the way you come. Watch out with the last bit of the decend to the cascades.
There were only a couple shortcuts through the vineyards but mostly yellow stripes or yellow and red. Nice views!
Beautiful walk through the vineyards of the Blagny. Watch the grapes grow that produce the Premier Crus de l’apellation du vignoble de Puligny-Montrachet. Be sure to take your camera along. After the hike, visit the beau...
Starts from D31 Very muddy if it was rainy Forest ambiance with some technical places Nothing too big just a little tour. Winch is needed if it is muddy ;-) Woodyard area
This tour for the racing bike takes you across two cols, the Ballon d’Alsace and the Ballon de Servance. It starts out near le Thillot (near to the place where we had our holiday home), where you take the ‘Voie verte des...
Short village walk in one of the most beautiful villages the France. Very easy walk with many viewpoints. This is because village is situated on hill top. Start and finish is at parking place. See last picture
This trail is recorded for my own reviewing purposes, not supposed to be followed by others because we used uplift. Jura rocks!!
Second day of our Himmelfahrt's Tour 2023 to the Cévennes. It was a nice ride through the Jura Mountains and Chartreuse Mountains. Highlight were Gorge de la Balme, the last piece of the Jura Mountains and the beginnin...
The way back to Beaune from Santenay is still work in progress in terms of signs, so we made a few detours ;)
