Paddle to the dam and back side trip to see a spring, another side trip to paddle an old canal out and back.
Our put in was at the end of E Turner Camp Rd and our destination was the head spring of Gum Slough. It was a long paddle for sure, but well worth it. The spring run was crystal clear with bald cypress towering over us.
