Second Monday in a row to ride to the cabin. Diane Campbell came to ride Lu and we picked up Sonja and Chico, and then on to meet Ranae in Shoshone and then got Johnny U at the country store and on to Pioneer Cabin trail...
No loop. Cheryl, Lisa Paulos ,Gayelynn, Sonja on Lu and me on Ela. I went on to smiley creek and others back to east fork or home. Started raining and cold on top as we finished lunch. Got Warner on way down.
Riders: Cheryl Hymas, Lisa Paulos, Sandra Capps, Deby, and Sonja Humphries. We rode to Pioneer cabin. It was a steep steep climb, and we encountered shale.
Pioneer Cabin Trail A lot of steep switchbacks, and no water for horses beyond the trail access, except a couple of trickling springs. So, we made frequent stops to rest our horses.
