This is a beautiful way to do these two peaks. A second car should be left below Sunrise Peak. We failed to do this, but were fortunate enough to meet a friend (in his car) as we were walking down the road.
Snowgrass loop. Beware of trail from Walput lake to snowgrass as poorly signed. At Cispus River fording go Downstream to find 7A northbound trail. Do not follow this map for this area.
This figure eight loop goes around beautiful Takhlakh Lake, climbs up a lava bed and goes by a nice forest meadow - all while displaying incredible views of Mt Adams and occasionally Mt. Rainier too.
