We did a loop hike on the Friends Of Massabesic Bicycling Association (FOMBA) trails near Manchester in southern New Hampshire. Click "View more" below for hike info.
Easy hike. Several junctions - keep right and go up. Very close to house at top, but you are on public land so don't be concerned and say away from the areas saying "Private...".
The very first part of the hike is a 5 min bushwhack to an old farming road (or some such ATV / snowmobile). From there is a really nice walk in open woods. Not such to see, but we had to do a mountain called "Misery".
