29400 SR 62, Duette, FL 33834 https://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/little-manatee-river-southfork-tract Hiking only. No fee. Ample parking at trailhead and nice marked trails.
Most of the trails going in the grass is about 3 to 4 feet high (as of July 31, 2021). The northern and northeast sections are easier after they plowed the trails. Very little to no mosquitos.

6 am hike in Southfork Tract.
10/22/22 Mostly dry. A few trees down from Hurricane Ian, easy to walk around
11/12/22 All trails are cleared of downed trees. No mosquitos or ticks.

9/24/22 Haven't been here in a while. Wet and muddy in spots and needs to be mowed
