This starts from the visitor’s center entrance. The trail goes up a steep utility road, then leads to steep steps to South Fortuna Summit. Descend at Fortuna Saddle and head back to the utility road.
This hike starts from the back side of mission trails. The first part is easy dirt trail. The middle goes up a very steep utility road. At the saddle continue up to north Fortuna.
