The route is for the most part on hiking trails and Public foothpahts. For 2.5 km of the route you can encounter a car or a tractor. We made this trail June 2015.
Beautiful walk through fabulous countryside. Plenty if choice in Hutton Le Hole for refreshments. And back to the George and Dragon in Kirkbymoorside for a pint.
