Kinder scout from Hayfield beautiful but quite hard. Hiking with the scrambling so not for everyone. If you have dog it might be quite difficult especially for the small dogs

Good trails throughout but a tricky descent at 5.5 miles so have selected moderate for the whole walk.
Quite a steady scramble and climb up William's Clough to the top, which is why I grade it as hard. One short spell at about 10km on a very busy A624, without pavement. Look out for the WW2 airplane wreckage.
Something a little different from Kinder Scout area. Tracks and trails easy enough but wasn’t a particularly good walk.
Start in the village and walk up to the top of Lantern Pike, then out across the moors and back to Hayfield. Allow at least three hours. Quite a climb to get to the top but well worth it!
