This trail has everything - wadi, mountains, a dam, donkeys. Perfect little loop only 1h20 from Dubai. Quite slippy and tricky to traverse along wadi even with the water being low. Not one to do after a lot of rain!
Intermediate level! Some places a tricky and slippery (if rained before) but after all quite good. The spot next to Dam , you should take ‘stairs’ down the dam . Follow the ‘stones towers’ people build
We did just a total of 6kms (not a loop). Easy hike with beautiful areas of natural pools and wild life.

Sulfer wadi First Visit
Doing the track in reverse - allows a good cardio ascent for first 1-2km. Then eases out into the wadi. The trail continues towards the lake which you need to be super careful that if it has rained its almost impossible ...
Great hike! A few small boulder climbs near the pools if you start clockwise (to the left), and more of a scramble/climb for the last 2km. We would definitely advise to start clockwise (left) so that you end on the steep...
Did this trail in reverse so kids can play with water at the end. Very well marked and beautiful trail. A lot of water this time due to recent rain.
Situated in Dahir, Fujairah. Great hike for Kids, but there are a few parts where you have to be extra careful, especially the initial part where there is a narrow trail with a steep cliff/drop. There are many ponds al...
Once you enter the parking, it’s quite steep and at the top, there’s a lone tree and a small village down in the deep. Follow the left-hand trail past the tree, where the left-hand side of the village to where you will s...
Dahir Sulphur pools only, difficulty -medium. We’re with a kid, 9 y.o. It’s bearable for children but needed supervision. Many slippery rocks. The whole loop will be about 4 hours, so keep in mind.
BEST HIKE EVER - it’s not a long hike but the scenery and the fun of navigation through or around pools makes this a very family friendly activity. Bring a change of clothes and swing trunks!
Pretty easy hike - got bit lost at the end of the trail. I could see the car park though. Had to pee a lot on the trail :D Couple of small technical parts - otherwise it was easy and rewarding at the end.
We came past 3 already, there's no way to finish the loop, so we hiked from the left side to reach the pools right away and hiked as far as we can as time allowed. Had some fish spa when we came back.
Loop from left to right, amazing pools at the beginning, a bit long so better to do without young kids, diverse landscape, highly recommended
Known as sulfer pool despite not really having sulfer. Seasoned trail with lots of cairns. A mini lake with a dam about 1/3 of this trail. The rest of the trail is mostly along small water ponds.
More moderate than beginner. Pls do not do this in the summer or when hot. Zero shade. Plenty of water. Trail is wel marked.
A great hike with so much to see compared to other mountain hikes. More greenery, a dam, sulphur pools, really interesting Easy to follow, not too difficult as it is not all uphill Really enjoyable

Another attempt to complete the loop. Arrived at 3.30 and turned back after 3 km. To complete the loop would require around 5 hours. Third attempt next time!
