Within Hehaun Recreation Area there are several mountains ; East Hehaun, West Hehaun, Hehaun, North Hehaun and Mt Shihmen. All the mountains are surrounded with speculator views.
原預定合歡北峰-合歡西峰，卻因風大雨大取消西峰，而原路折返。而軌跡記錄器，卻又因年久而防水功能變弱，風雨交加後就有水漬才其中而掛點。GPS的防水功能很重要呀！這是很入門級中的入門級的百岳路線，天侯不佳，簡單的路走起來也很辛苦，裡面會流汗，要吸濕排汗，外面下雨，又要擋雨擋風又透氣，裝備不好，就事倍功半。而且三千公尺以上，走起來就是比較喘，並不因為在幾百公尺上跑一跑的練習，就能很快適應高地的活動。這邊的夏天是會被冷到的，真的是超級棒的避暑行...
