A good walk around the area but towards the end there were a few dogs that were loose guarding a flock of sheep/goats. A bit daunting.
Towards Hotel Vinuela then Las Mayorales and back to Puente Don Manuel. The final bit to Alcaucin was not hiking.

Nice walk up from Venta Baja to the castle. Unfortunately didn't reach as we had to cross a busy road with the dogs and kids. Worth the trip though cause view is amazing!
A nice easy walk, some hills but not too severe, took about 2.5 hours without rushing. Lovely views of Lake Vinuela.
