Ruta empezando a la tarde desde Glenorchy, con noche en McIntyre Hut, lo suyo llegar al siguiente refugio McIntosh Hut, 2 horas más. Ojo con el río si ha llovido bastante no hay por donde cruzar.
Paseo de una hora (recorrido largo)
Ruta sin dificultad técnica pero con unas fuertes pendientes para subir, especialmente la que discurre junto a la valla de madera.

Subida black peak con nieve (sin batería), noche en McIntosh Hut, se puede bajar en el día hasta Glenorchy cerrando el loop, pero la bajada vertical pegada a la valla es un horror para las rodillas, las vistas merecen.
