3歳6ヶ月の息子は電車の中で「パパ、今日は歩かない、ずっとザックの中にいる」と言ったからボカ訓練（彼+ザックは25キロ以上）になると思いきや。。。結局最初から最後まで一度もザックに入らないで、岩があっても両手を使って自分の力で見事に登れた。下山時友達が膝が若干痛くて、息子が「何でこんな遅い」とか「おい、頑張れ」何度も言っていた。何度も休憩したとしても、3歳で7時間弱標高差700ｍ弱を自分で歩くなんて参加者全員驚いていた。
