Beautifully exposed Earth's mantle. Intent was to do the off trail loop, go up on top and decend the bowl, but the river was too high to cross.
Name of the trail is the Lookout Trail, it is near Wood point NL. We had some lovely views, temperature and very few bugs.
An steady respectful climb to a lookout over Bonne Bay. I rate it moderate, only because the trail is well kept. But it is a decent climb that will make you sweat.
