Up the west side of Elk Lake, on the east side of the hill to the summit and down on the west to cross Brookfield Road to rejoin the bridle trail.
Up past the cemetery to the water reservoir and down to the Lochside Trail. A diversion from Rithets Bog circuit brought us back to Broadmead Centre.
