Garmin Oregon 550 with HRM There is no defined track markings after diverting from Dom Dom Road.(Second picture). When reaching the 700m elevation turn right to meet my downhill tracklog to progress to summit.
Wow this was a great hike but hard, so many trees to climb over, which made it fun, would not try and do it in the rain, the hills are steep.

Easy 15km hike. I didn't hike to Mt Mondo which could be added (EST extra few hours??). Beautiful forest/Tree Ferns following comfortable forestry/ CFA Tracks
Hardcore when muddy and left over snow. Poles highly recommended. Had to give up just below summit since too slippery and downhill very dangerous
Finished in Fershaw campsite and walked along the road back. Not recommended to do the section after Fershaw picnic ground.
