Predominantly rock hopping up Cedar Creek and Love Creek, short bush scramble to the top of the falls.
Hard moderate, requires rock hopping and climbing and scrambling skills, full protection recommended because some bush bashing invove, take swimmer’s for dip on the rock pool near Carpark.
Partly cloudy day, easy to navigate, at least 2x places you really have to swim, approx 6 swimholes in total
Don’t attempt in wet, lots of Gympie, Gympie, nettles, snakes in summer. Exposed scrambles if you take a bad route up/down waterfalls. But.....with good company and dry rock it’s great fun

Cedar creek, black creeOksana and I wanted an outdoor adventure this weekend, because it's been too long since our last adventures in New Zealand. I was a bit gun shy as I've been injured fairly incessantly since the new...
A great 3-4 hour return hike. Lots of scrambling up the creek with easy navigation. The waterfall at the end is attractive but the water below wasn’t swimmable (stagnant) so we had to head back to the start for a swim. ...

Hike to Love Creek falls via swimming holes. Follow the creek all the way up. A bit of scrambling involved in parts but overall a nice round trip. Stop by one of the watering holes to cool off on your way back down.
Easy hike follow creek up until you get to Y section with small waterfall. Scramble to the top and keep walking righty tills you find waterfalls.
Very beautiful walk. Took us about 5:30 hours. When we reached the little pumping shed at the end of black creek we kept to the left of the creek and after some bush slashing we ended up on a drive way. It was private pr...
We were originally going to be going to Love Falls via Greenes Falls, but due to weather we did not go the whole way. We went to the bottom of Greenes falls and continued on to the next waterfall. We then turned back a...
Follow the creek until you reach a two-way junction. Take a right and follow the creek the rest of the way to the waterfall. Quite a mental and physical off-track challenge with some rock scrambling involved. Wear shoes...
A short hike so I gave an overall rating of Easy but there is a short section of tough uphill/downhill hiking which may challenge unfit persons.
Followed WikiAdventa wikiloc trail . Excellent views of North Brisbane and the lakes. I did the hike in 4 hours with plenty of stops. I never use poles but they would have saved me about 30 minutes.
Walk from Maiala Picnic Area along Joyner Rd. Fairly easy walk with some small ups and downs. Little under 3 hours. Nowhere ideal for stops along the route. Recommend doing all in one go. A few nice views along the way.
Attempted the following trail but my son didn't want to go further - so many leeches. https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/piper-comanche-wreck-15921603
love falls 2/3 is ok i can say easy. Last part need to take more wise decisions that you not hurt yourself.
We did this overnighter anti clockwise. Started at Maiala carpark and hiked to England Creek remote bush camp via Norhbrook Mountain lookout. Continued on the next day to the Maiala carpark.long stretches of up hill and ...
A nice loop along the creeks, falls and pools. Some hard steps requiring a little bit of easy climbing, sometimes impressive, especially when going down. Walk, rock hopping, along the creek, up to Cedar Falls (a sign fu...
