Gentle circuit meandering through Funtngton and Stoughton (coffee at the church) to East Marden. Then wonderful descent along Chilgrove road to Lavant and cycle path back to Chichester.
An easy jaunt on a sunny morning. No need to stop apart from admiring views across Chichester Harbour from Bosham. The tide was on flooding the road, so a short spell of footpath walking was required.
Short exercise circuit, but couldn’t resist having a rest at East Ashling Mill, then tempted to walk through the bluebells at Stoke Wood.
Lunch in a woodland glade, wonderful surprise off-road detour, late coffee at West Ashling Mill. A beautiful circuit!

Yet another gentle tootle along the lanes just NW of Chichester. Stopped off to admire the bluebells at Woodend near West Stoke.
Our favourite “hot day” circuit. Away from main roads, no steep ascents, lovely cool breeze off the sea.
An easy circular jaunt. Quiet roads and cycle paths. A few gentle hills. Bosham harbour view, many pubs en route for refreshments.
Easy bank holiday jaunt from Chichester Canal Basin, with coffee (our own flasks) at Birdham marina and return via Apuldram Lane as the cycle path was too popular.
Bosham - West Ashling Mill Circuit We’re fair weather types who cycle, but are not necessarily cyclists. First bike ride since last autumn. Lovely easy jaunt plus a surprise “robotic” pizza stop at The Richmond Arms.
