The bridlepath between Burton Upon Stather and Flixborough is doable on a road bike however I would not do it again, I would stick to the top road.
Can be done on road bike with care, section after North Kelsey along River Ancholme, Carr Lane and Starholme Lane is mostly loose gravel.
The section between the two waypoints is a green lane, slippery grass with lots of hawthorn hedge, managed ok with slick tyres.
Bit sticky along the Humber, but ok on old mountain bike with slicks, full mudguards and no suspension.

A few rough tracks and roads, all manageable on a road bike. Use Courtyard café in Brigg which was excellent.
Chimney bank is very steep make sure your fed watered and ready! Railway station café in Malton is closed Mondays.
Sands Lane between Keld Ln and The Outgangs Rillington is unsurfaced and has a ford to cross, there is however a footbridge if you wish to avoid wet feet.
Had to use the A46 into Lincoln as road to Reasby closed. I would normally go via Reasby and Reepham.
Used Rosie's café at Saundby and Claytons Corner at Howsham, The toll bridge at Newton on Trent is free for cycles.
Small section of gravel track about 500 yards just before Hibalstow Bridge. This was ok on road bike with 23mm tyres.
Stopped at café in Ludford, but would not recommend it.

Rawcliffe Bridge only open for pedestrians as of 26 March 2018.
Road surface of Middle Barn Hill in Worlaby is very poor.
Good café at Flamborough Head and also at Park rose near Carnaby.
T Post café is closed Mon and Tues, Scarm park is an great alternative.
Good café at the Airport, used woodside café near Rawcliffe for second stop.
Rosies café or the Garden centre café are both ok at Saundby.
gravel section down the Humber for about 2 mile, ok when dry on road bike.
500 metre section of off road just after Westow by the church. easy to bypass if wet.
A few back tracks and lots of muddy roads.
Razzars is a great café in Goole near clock roundabout.
This takes a couple of hills out from the other version.
