Krasang back roads to Surin - lots of dirt and rock roads on my touring bike -real slow - did not plan on it but I am stubborn. I fully enjoyed this - stopped to talk to people, eat lunch and a snack -no hurry.
Really difficult trail indeed. Two mountain passes, steep roads but nice landscapes though. The first 30kms cycling goes along main road towards Chiang Mai, after the police control turn left at the juction.
Even though the highway has a bike lane, try to avoid this track as it can be dangerous due to busy traffic. Not beautiful sights in between.
