    Along N59 (limited traffic), then along small and nice roads to Salrock, Tully Cross and Kinnyle Castle (not accessible). Nice route over to Clifden and further along the shore to Roundstone.

    Easy from Cong to Toormakeady, then steep on small roads up to Partry Mountains. Further mostly on small roads to Westport. On 29 May 2010: Very limited car traffic on most of these roads.
