Great finale of the season: skiing the northern central couloir of Baranec. Sunny slopes on the opposite side of the valley were too soft and avalanche-prone at midday.
Classic spring tour from Žiarska chata to Baranec via Jarný couloir prolonged to the southern side of the mountain. Unfortunately, only half of the route is tracked (final descent from Baranec is missing).
