Itinerary description
The Stupa to Stupa Race is a trail running event in Kathmandu Nepal that was first held in 2014. It was promoted as the Mira Rai Stupa to Stupa Marathon in 2018. The course starts at the Swayambu Temple and passes through several Buddhist monasteries including Jamacho, Nagi, and Kapan. The race ends with runners completing three laps around the Boudhanath Stupa. The 5th edition of the race took place on 18th March 2023 after a two-year break due to the COVID pandemic, with over 160 participants from 16 countries.
