What at first was going to be a quiet day becomes again one of the most complicated of the whole trip. We passed the port of Kunzum at 4500m, the highest of the entire trip. It is a beautiful and emotional place for travelers. We leave tied a measure of the Virgin of the Pillar next to all the Buddhist flags that move with the wind while we think about how hard and beautiful the trip is.

We then went to the camp that is located on Lake Chandratal with the intention of sleeping there. The view from the lake is the most spectacular I have seen in my life. You see the Mulkila with 6517m and all the glacier that comes towards us majestic. We can also see the Indrasan with 6221m, more beautiful if possible.

How it threatens rain we decided, wrongly, to continue our descent towards Manali in search of something of civilization. There are many days already between 3500m and 4500m and the body asks for it. It's funny how at night, when you move in bed, you find yourself panting in as if you had run next to the beach.

Going up towards the lake we have crossed some water courses, which in India, do not channel below the road, if not above. When we are going down, the drops that fell kilometers above, have become increasingly difficult water courses to pass with motorcycles. We have to face water courses (we are in July and it has rained) of tens of meters. An extremely brave water chocolate color that does not let see if there are stones or not. In one of them I fall with the bike and everything soaks. There are still many hours of route.

We ended up arriving in Manali at night, again sore and yet absolutely soaked. One of the hardest days of my life.
