Firenze corsa nel centro storico - Florence running in the old town centre

Corsa all'alba nel centro storico di Firenze.

Prima che le strade si riempiano di turisti, prima che si formino e si allunghino le code fuori dai principali musei e monumenti questo giro del centro storico di Firenze vi farà vedere con un occhio diverso questa magnifica città.

Partenza da Santa Croce, passaggio da Piazza Peruzzi, si attraversa l'Arno su Ponte delle Grazie. Da Via de Bardi a Via dei Guicciardini per arrivare in Piazza dei Pitti. Passaggio in Piazza Santo Spirito e per il Borgo S.Jacopo prima di riattraversare il fiume questa volta a Ponte Vecchio. Godetevi il ponte deserto per un secondo prima di dirigervi verso gli uffizi e una incredibilmente silenziosa Piazza della Signoria. Passando dal Bargello puntiamo verso Piazza del Duomo, in rapida sequenza Palazzo Strozzi, Piazza della repubblica, l' Orsanmichele, Loggia del cinghiale, prima di entrare in Borgo S. Apostoli. Da Piazza Goldoni a Ognissanti sul lungarno, da qui puntiamo per Santa Maria Novella e Piazza Unità d'Italia, poi verso il cuore Mediceo di Firenze, ovvero San Lorenzo e Palazzo Ricciardi. Passaggio per San Marco e la bellissima Santissima Annunziata in direzione dei giardini di Piazza d'Azeglio. Da qui incrociamo la Sinagoga e scendiamo verso Piazza dei Ciompi e il suo mercatino delle pulci che si sveglia lentamente prima di arrivare sotto la statua di Dante in piazza Santa Croce da dove eravamo partiti.

Ride at dawn in the wonderful historical old town centre of Florence.

Before the streets get filled by a river of people, before the formation of long queues outside the main museums and monuments, this tour of the historic center of Florence will make you look with a different eye this magnificent city.

Starting From Santa Croce, passed by Piazza Peruzzi, we cross the Arno River on Ponte delle Grazie, one of the three ancient bridge of old city. From Via de Bardi enter in Via Guicciardini to arrive in Piazza dei Pitti and have a look at the first palace of this side "out of arno". Step in Piazza Santo Spirito and the Borgo S.Jacopo before re-cross the river this time on Ponte Vecchio, Old Bridge. Enjoy the silence for a few seconds, and you will taste the experience of being in that era for a while, before heading to the Uffizzi Gallery and an incredibly quiet Piazza della Signoria. Moving from Bargello, one of the first pubblic palace ever built to Piazza del Duomo, in rapid sequence Palazzo Strozzi, the Piazza of the republic redesigned in the '800 and the 'Orsanmichele, the most fiorentina of all florence buildings, an old barn and trading center transformed in a church. Piazza Goldoni in All Saints on the Arno river, from here we aim to Santa Maria Novella and Piazza Unità d'Italia, then to the heart of the Medicean Florence, San Lorenzo and Palazzo Ricciardi. Passage to San Marco and the beautiful Santissima Annunziata in the direction of the gardens of Piazza d'Azeglio. From here we cross the Synagogue and descend towards Piazza dei Ciompi and its flea market wakes up slowly before coming under the statue of Dante in Piazza Santa Croce where we started.
