Hefðbundin leið upp að skilti 4 og þaðan í austur eftir slóða að Gunnlaugsskarði. Upp hjá stiku Ferðafélags Íslands og aðeins inná Hábungu. Þaðan að Þverfellshorni og styttri leiðina niður á bílastæði.
