Itinerary description
The Allalinhorn is one of the easiest and most accessible 4000s of the Alps, but not to forget it’s a glacier hike. Probably because we did it at the end of the summer season there were more crevasses open than when I did it two years ago. For the biggest one someone installed a wooden ladder, without which a 10-12m ice climbing would be required. Anyway, always a privilege to be up there without the crowds of mid-summer.
