Itinerary description

This is probably the longest paved trail in Florida, I would assume. From the Northern end of the trail it will start you in Lake Mary, just on the western edge of Sanford (never actually being in the jurisdiction), then into Winter Springs (the section in Winter Springs is easily the best part, the most tree covered areas are in this section. Best parking for that section is either near the Winter Springs Towne Center, or there's a parking lot near 417 and an retirement home. The trail then runs through Oviedo, cutting you on the backside of the mall. This ends the scenic part of the Winter Springs route. You'll see more open areas, and run parallel to Aloma Ave (SR 426), which can be pretty busy. Also, beware of the Home Depot lot and overpass that runs into it. Cars will not stop for you, so if you're bombing that hill like I do on my longboard, just know that no one cares about pedestrians here! After the route. The trail eventually spills into Orange county at the South end, approximately just after the Howell Branch/Aloma (SR 426) and technically becomes The Cady Way Trail. This is all continuous, however, so I like to think of it as one as a MEGA TRAIL!
