Itinerary description
No holidays without paddling. We went from NYC to Cranford, NJ, a small town 30 minutes away from Manhattan by train. We rented a canoe there for a couple of hours (cranfordcanoeclub.com). We were the first guests on the Rahway River in 2015. We would have liked to go farther, but there were a lot of branches and logs on the river due of a thunderstorm this winter.
