Itinerary description
(n.b. elevation gain circa + 1000m)
The stats might look easy, but a hard hike due to the terrain (and on the day, wind). A mix of loose gravel on steep slopes and moss + rock on the tops made for slow progress (as shown by the times). The first climb is the longest with a lovely summit at Vífilsfell. From there it's continous up and down perhaps 50-100m at a time along one ridge then traversing to the next. Great views on either side, but Vífilsfell remains the highlight. Good hike to keep in shape and a hard one to love :)
