Itinerary description
I'd divide the hike in 5 parts. The firts one runs along a garvel track. The second is a quite steep climb and you will reach a pass marked with a milestone. The third one runs alongs a plateau. The forth is a slope on stone floor, it isn't necessary the use of the hands for this part but they'll help you to go through it. Then you reach a crest and the last part of the hike where you have to climb a bit and the hands are necessary. In this part are several ropes to help you to teach the top. Magnificent views of the Reykjanes peninsula.
