Sughereta di Pomezia (Pomezia cork oak wood) is a natural reserve established in 2016. It is very close to industrial town of Pomezia.
In the reserve, you can cross different environments, from cultivated fields to thick mediterranean woodlands. The flora of the area is a typical "warm lauretum", with a major presence of bay tree (Laurus nobilis), downy oak (Quercus pubescens), and, of course, cork oak (Quercus suber).
