Itinerary description
Small loop beneath Esja's summit. Snow on the ground and up to 10cm deep in places. Slow and steady climb up into nice shaded valley, then a left turn West to Steinn. Steepish descent in parts with good views of Reykjavik. To try further paths to the East as the route taken up was fine in snow but would be tedious without (sized for bikes and vehicles).
