Itinerary description
⭐⭐⭐
A beautiful hike with lots of diversity. Different types of landscapes : lakes and ponds, forest and most of the hike make me think of a tundra.
All along the way, there are burnt trees which project you in a very dark ambiance, but of course you have to do the hike when there is no leaves yet on the trees.
On the lake, there are lots of animals too watch. Ducks, goose, swans, heron, etc... And if you do not make too much noise you'll be lucky as I was and you might encounter deers.
I saw a group of 7 who were progressing 2 steps when I progressed 1. That was great, I could stay with them for about 5 min before they ran away.
I saw 2 more on the way back really close to the parking lot.
It is very easy to park, and there are public toilets on the parking.
This was a really great hike, and I was alone really. And to be noticed. There are 3 different possible loops you can choose from. I did the longest one.
