Itinerary description
Nice and easy trail, a few steps from Reykjavik. No problems parking the car. Wonderful valley down beneath Selfjall. Note that this is a winter track in snow. I got good weather in the beginning, sun and good view, especially to Vífilfell, Hengill (Skeggi) and towards Reykjavik. Then I got fog and snowfall when I got to the top at Sandfell. Be careful in the lava between the mountains, at least during winter time.
