Itinerary description
Rublacedo de Abajo - Carcedo de Bureba one of my all time favourite walks, from the door step of the house towards the by beautiful village of Carcedo de Bureba. It’s easy just follow the yellow rural road or camino rural, where you will find farmers fields on either side of the road, sometimes wheat, rape or sunflower making the scenery change with the seasons. When you reach the top of the walk, you will see to your right the village of Carcedo de Bureba and Santa Eulalia’s church, Romanesque’s art. The village is small but pretty and very well preserved and maintained. From Carcedo de Bureba you can walk 4,2 kilometres towards Vías Verdes or Camino Santander-Mediterráneo. This walk is more rural with native trees and shrubs and at this time of year a beautiful variety of wildlife and wildlife flowers.
