Itinerary description
The more circuitous route is the new trail (compare with my old trail track recorded March 16, 2014). Photos are from this new trail. As of the date of this hike, the trail was still being routed and blazed and much of it had only the most rudimentary clearing work done. It will go past the string of lakes to the north as well. There was also a controlled burn being carried out along part of the trail that hasn't been rerouted.
