Itinerary description

Nice trail to a 'Mirador' opposite the Embera Biakiru community on the Chagres River. The trail head is a short boat ride to the opposite side of the river from the community. The trail starts out along a small stream and is very rocky, then becomes very steep dirt trail to the top of a ridge. Then a nice walk along the ridge to a small view point and then back down to the river on a steep trail, finishing on a small beach on the river Chagres. The trail is not marked at all and so it is essential to take a guide from the Biakiru Community. Contact Ivan from the Community for transport and guides 6950 4252
