Itinerary description
Most of the trail is on forest roads.
The best part is the path before and after the waterfall. Especially,when one goes inside the small gorge (photo 1) (following the trail up, on the left of the waterfall) from which the water runs down. We didn't cross this gorge cause water level was high (depth more than 1,5m at some points). Swimming suits and sandals are recommended if one decides to try it. Waterfall (the second largest in Crete) is very interesting with a small lake lying on its base.
In general it is a very easy trail that can be done even by children.
Real walking time about 2 hours.

Nice walk with excellent views. Waterfall was dry now. Sometimes you have to look a bit for the right track , but albeit well worth!
